Dr. Therese WARD is a Clinical Psychologist based in Dubai, specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy and assessments for adults. With over twenty years of experience, she is skilled at alleviating psychological pain and assessing personalities through projective techniques. Dr. WARD focuses on adult and couple therapy, helping couples untangle interpersonal struggles and evolve toward serenity.

Dr. WARD is a Lebanese doctoral-level Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, with services available in French, English, and Arabic. She is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and holds a Lebanese license issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health (MOH). She earned her High Studies Diploma (DEA) in Clinical Psychology from the Lebanese University in 2005 and completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2011 from Sorbonne Paris Nord University in France. In 2018, she obtained a diploma in Art Therapy from Sorbonne Paris 7 University, and she also completed three years of intensive training in Personality Assessment (Rorschach and Thematic Apperception Test) at Saint Joseph University in Beirut.

With 21 years of experience in lecturing at various universities, Dr. WARD supervises around 160 students annually, training them in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, and personality assessments.

Her work involves assessing patients’ behaviors and needs through sensitive listening and critical observation, providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy for intrapersonal and interpersonal disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, panic attacks, and phobias. Dr. WARD is also an expert in couple therapy; her analytical approach helps couples untie pathogenic knots within their bond by exploring unconscious processes at both the individual and couple levels, promoting more mature relationships.

The therapy she offers is conducted in a confidential, safe, neutral, and non-judgmental atmosphere. It integrates methods such as free association, dream analysis, and art therapy.
